Mors Cultural Summit (Kulturmødet) is Denmark’s new center stage for discussing arts and culture. The next edition takes place in Nykøbing Mors, Denmark, from August 23rd– 25th and will feature up to 450 encounters in music, film, literature, visual arts and debates.
Our aim is to showcase, in 48 hours, glimpses from our different projects in addition to daily live encounters with prominent Egyptian/ Danish artists and professionals.
Our program highlights include a glimpse of Women’s Museum exhibition in the Middle East, Alternative Folk and Jazz music concerts with Youssra El Hawary and Shadi El Husseiny, a documentary-fiction by Bassem Yousri shot close to Mors in Oddesund, photography and tales from the Tri-city Photo-marathon, Children’s illustration workshops by Walid Taher, and other collaborations.
Mona’s House, an annual symbol of Mors Cultural Meeting, will be housing most of our activities. In 2014, Mona Ingemann opened the door to her home and turned it into a temporary museum. In Mona’s spirit, we are very pleased to present this year a program of exhibitions, debates and concerts in the living room.
Stay tuned for the full program!
