Inspired by DEDI
Racism is a global issue. In Egypt, Amira el-Masry is one of many who devoted herself to do something about it. She has founded WANAS and is offering a safe space where Egyptian children and refugee children from Syria and Sudan come to play together once a week and learn about each other.
The Danish journalist Sara Moeller has visited Amira el-Masry in Alexandria and witnessed her amazing work. Amira el-Masry got inspiration to found WANAS after participating in a workshop organized by DEDI’s Civic Education Program.
